Moreover, why are Blacks dying at higher rates from COVID-19? Are we taking this Virus, “SERIOUSLY” I’m Referring to the high number of the coronavirus in Chicago’s African community? I grew up on the side south of Chicago. Three South Side politicians on Friday called on residents again to take the statewide stay-at-home order seriously.

Black Chicagoans are dying from the coronavirus at a rate higher than any other racial information about people. At the same time, public records show a reflection of the deadly results that economically, disadvantaged communities have faced for generations.

In addition, these upsetting statistics suggest black Chicagoans are dying at a rate nearly six times greater than other ethnic groups.
“Those numbers take my breath away,” Mayor Lori Lightfoot said Monday. “This is a call to action for all of us.”
Ald. David Moore, 17th, pointed to the particularly high numbers in the 60620 ZIP code around the Auburn Gresham neighborhood, which touches his ward.

Meanwhile, some say too many Americans are infected with the belief that a cause or the cause of higher black infection or death rates is that black people are not taking the viral threat seriously and that other ethnic groups, have lower infection and death rates because they are taking COVID-19 seriously. That’s one opinion.
Overall, the evidence points in the opposite direction. The Pew and Dynata conducted a survey that again found that black people (59 percent) were significantly more likely than other groups to take the virus seriously.
Considering this, People of color have always had a strategy for dealing with Sickness and Disease, lack of Money, Poor Relationships, Misguided Children’s, and a host of other situations.
Consider the last 400 years! Everything that has ever happened to people of color “God” has always provided a solution. What you and I need to do is go back to our first love. Plain and simple. After 400 years of physical and mental slavery, God has always been there.
